I’ve been finding myself spending a lot of time at Hyatt Lake lately. I rediscovered it when my brother and I camped there a few weeks ago. Since then, I’ve enjoyed swimming and kayaking there. It’s an incredibly gorgeous lake to explore. While on the lake, stay at Hyatt Lake Resort, which is open year-round and offers year-round overnight cabin rentals (which are very nice), a small seasonal bait shop, a summer time boat ramp, moorage, and a few RV sites.
The “Campers Cove” restaurant serves breakfast until 11am, while lunch & dinner is served every day except Wednesday. Quality ice cream is served year round, as well as beer, wine and soft drinks. Pizza is also available for dine in or take out.
Hyatt Lake has great scenery with good forest land and snow capped peaks in view most of the year. The area around Hyatt Lake is filled with deer, eagles, osprey and other wildlife which can often be seen around the lake.
