Tickets go on sale January 20th for the February 18th screening
Southern Oregon University’s (S.O.U.) Outdoor Program will present the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour in the S.O.U. Music Recital Hall on February 18th at 7:30 pm.
The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour brings Banff to audiences around the globe reaching 390,000 people at over 840 screenings in 40 countries. The S.O.U. Outdoor Program, Banff, and partners National Geographic and the North Face, present a selection of films on exploration and adventure, culture and environment, and mountain sports. The proceeds of the S.O.U. screening benefit the SOU Outdoor Program.
The festival is visiting the S.O.U. campus for the fourth year in a row. “We are extremely proud to once again bring this world class production to the Rogue Valley,” said Willie Long, S.O.U.’s Outdoor Program Coordinator. “For folks who enjoy the outdoors and adventure, it really is difficult to beat the scenes and action shots this film brings to the table.”
Ticket prices are $13 in advance and $15 at the door. Tickets will be available starting January 20th at the Ashland Outdoor Store, the SOU Box Office Mon.-Fri. 12-6pm, and online at http://www.sou.edu/performingarts/boxoffice.html
