Every time I visit Emigrant Lake I am reminded of yet another great aspect of the Ashland area. I have swam here, had picnics and played frisbee with friends, rock climbed and boated here. It’s also a great place to camp after a fun afternoon of rafting the Rogue.
Located 6 miles SE of Ashland, the park offers a host of activities for the entire family — from an RV park and 42 tent site campground to swimming, picnicking, hiking, boating, canoeing, kayaking and fishing for bass, crappie and trout. There are also facilities all over the park that can accommodate those with disabilities.
The all-new RV park features 32 sites with full hookups, overlooking over 12 miles of beautiful shoreline on the lake’s north end. Each site offers water, 50-amp electrical service, sewer, and ample 14’ x 50’ pads to accommodate any size RV. The park also boasts new ADA bathroom facilities and showers.
Refreshing summer fun can be found in the park’s 280-foot twin flume waterslide. The slide offers dressing rooms, showers, restrooms, picnic tables and a concession stand with a full menu.
