Walk to the University to check out the campus. Wine and dine at Martino’s. Catch one of the famous Oregon Shakespeare Plays after dinner. Sleep well….
Sunday: Wake up to birds chirping and the sun breaking over the Siskiyou Mountain Range. Walk one block to Indigo Creek Outfitters‘ River Center and spend the morning rafting on Southern Oregon’s beautiful Rogue River. Back by 12:30, grab lunch and a tasty craft beer at Standing Stone Brewery (www.standingstonebrewing.com). Catch an early Shakespeare Festival and make late dinner reservations at Lark’s. On your walk from the theater to the restaurant, stop by Bloomsbury Books, the absolute best book store anywhere.
Monday: Sleep in, enjoy a phenomenal breakfast courtesy of hosts John and Sue, and pack your bags. After an action-packed weekend in Ashland, Oregon it’s time to head home.
