Food Network show Restaurant Impossible is coming to Southern Oregon to revamp and showcase Ashland’s Mystic Treats.
The restaurant has reported that the crew from Restaurant Impossible will be on location November 4th and 5th to critique, remodel, and plan a grand reopening. The show is hosted by the popular TV personality, Chef Robert Irvine. In the show, Irvine is given two days and $10,000 to rebuild struggling restaurants.
The Food Network is encouraging local individuals to assist in Mystic Treats’ makeover. Wanted are people to do painting, crafting, construction, remodeling, cleaning and decorating. Skilled contractors, electricians, plumbers and painters are appreciated. If you are interested in volunteering during the shoot, email email@example.com by 9:00 AM, Friday October 31st, with their full name, email, preferred shifts, skill set & profession, and cell number using subject line: FN 1004 OR VOLUNTEER. Meals are provided and volunteers may end up on TV. Three shifts are available; volunteers can sign up for any or all shifts: 1 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4; 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, to 2 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5; and 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5
Reservations are also being accepted for the grand reopening at 6 p.m. Wednesday, November 5. Two seatings are available: Approximately 12 tables at 6 p.m. and 18 tables at 7:30 p.m. Call Mystic Treats at 541-897-0045 for reservations.
