A few folks from Indigo Creek Outfitters got out for a day of January rafting on the Upper Applegate recently. The Applegate River is a tributary to the Rogue River, with the confluence just south of Grants Pass, Oregon. The headwaters start in Northern California and the Upper Applegate flows into Applegate Lake, a reservoir about south of Jacksonville, Oregon. Releases from the reservoir form the Lower Applegate, which is a well-known Steelhead fishery. Here’s the video, courtesy of Indigo Creek Outfitters:
